As of 10 AM HWY G24 is now open at HWY 65/69 North of Indianola
After coordinating with NWS offices serving Iowa, the Storm Prediction Center and Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management, the tornado drill is a go for Wednesday, March 29th.
It will be cloudy across the state and there will be rain showers. There is no threat for severe weather. No lightning is expected with minimal atmospheric instability. Conditions are expected to be similar across portions of Iowa both on Thursday and Friday.
The NWS will message through social media, NWSChat, NWS webpages and NOAA All-Hazards Weather Radio prior to the test on Wednesday and during the test Wednesday that there is no threat for severe weather and a drill will occur between 10-11 AM.

10:00 AM – Test Tornado Watch issued for Iowa.
Around 10:30 AM – Test Tornado Warnings for Iowa counties issued.
11:00 AM – Test Tornado Watch expires.

McGregor Street at 65/69 Hwy Will be closed on October 30th at 5pm due to South River Bridge Construction. If you need to access McGregor use 140th off of Hwy 92.
We will try to keep you up to date with the Warren County Courthouse, Jail issues.
As of today the Courts have moved out of the Warren County Courthouse. The Clerk of Courts are now Located at 111 North Buxton Street Indianola, Iowa. You will need to contact the Clerk of Courts to find out what County your Court proceedings are held at. Currently Court for Warren County are being held at: Marion, Madison, and Polk County.
The Attorneys are now Located at the Warren County Administration Building 301 N. Buxton Street Indianola, Iowa.
As of Aug 24th the Sheriff’s Office and Staff, The Jail, and Warren County Communications (Dispatch) are still operating in the Court House.
